Welcome to Face|Off. These Community Guidelines establish the rules and expectations for all users engaging with our platform. By using Face|Off, you agree to adhere to these guidelines in conjunction with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Users must engage respectfully and refrain from bullying, harassment, or cyberbullying. Spam, excessive self-promotion, or disruptive behavior is not allowed. Face|Off encourages creativity, respectful competitiveness, and constructive discussions. Violations of these principles may result in enforcement actions, including content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination.
The following content is strictly prohibited: hate speech, discrimination, racism, harassment, violent, graphic, or threatening material, nudity, pornography, sexually explicit content, illegal or harmful activities such as drug use, weapons, or self-harm, misinformation, fake news, misleading content, copyright-infringing material including stolen videos or pirated media, spam, scams, phishing attempts, and fraudulent activities. Political and religious content is allowed provided it adheres to these guidelines. Face|Off reserves the right to take necessary action against content that violates these rules.
Users retain ownership of the content they create and upload to Face|Off. However, Face|Off reserves the right to remove or modify content that violates these guidelines. By using the platform, users grant Face|Off a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute content as necessary for platform functionality.
Face|Off employs human moderation and a user reporting system to enforce these guidelines. Reports of inappropriate content are reviewed, and appropriate action is taken. Users found in violation will receive three warnings before more severe penalties are applied. A second warning results in a one-week suspension, a third warning results in a one-month suspension, and a fourth violation leads to a permanent ban. Repeat offenders will be permanently restricted from creating new accounts.
Users will receive a notification when their content is flagged or removed, specifying the reason for the action. Warnings and suspensions will be communicated through in-app notifications and email. Users can request further clarification via the designated support email.
When a user’s content is flagged, Face|Off retains a record of the content and the reason for moderation for a specified period. This allows for review during appeals and ensures compliance with platform policies. Reported content may be stored for up to six months or longer if required by legal obligations.
Users can report guideline violations through in-app reporting or email. Appeals for content removal or account bans can be submitted via email. Face|Off will review appeals but reserves the right to make final moderation decisions.
Users must be at least 13 years old to use Face|Off. No parental controls are available, but Face|Off will try limit content visibility based on the user’s age range where applicable.
Face|Off allows direct messaging between users. Interactions between adults and minors will be monitored, and efforts will be made to prohibit inappropriate engagement. Live streaming and real-time comments will be moderated to prevent abuse and ensure compliance with these guidelines.
Users may advertise and promote products or services on Face|Off. Influencers and businesses may run sponsored content. All paid promotions must comply with platform policies, and misleading or prohibited promotions, such as gambling or false health claims, are not allowed.
Users who receive a permanent ban may appeal the decision after six months. Reinstatement is subject to review based on the severity of past violations. Appeals must demonstrate corrective actions taken by the user to ensure compliance with Face|Off policies.
Users who attempt to evade bans by creating new accounts using different credentials, devices, or IP addresses will be permanently restricted. Face|Off employs a combination of automated detection systems and manual review to identify and prevent ban evasion. Face|Off reserves the right to track repeat offenders through various methods, including device fingerprinting and IP monitoring, to ensure compliance with the platform’s policies.
Face|Off complies with legal obligations regarding third-party takedown requests, including but not limited to DMCA copyright claims, subpoenas, and law enforcement demands. Users whose content is subject to a takedown request will have an opportunity to contest or appeal before removal, unless legally prohibited. Users whose content is subject to a third-party removal request will receive notification unless prohibited by law. Content removal in response to legal complaints does not exempt the user from further legal action by the complainant.
Violations of these guidelines will result in escalating penalties, including warnings, temporary suspensions, and permanent bans. Serious violations, including illegal activity or fraud, may result in legal action. Face|Off reserves the right to enforce these consequences at its discretion.
Users must explicitly agree to these guidelines when signing up. Updates to these guidelines will be communicated via email notifications and in-app alerts to ensure users remain informed about any changes. Face|Off reserves the right to update these guidelines as necessary. By continuing to use the platform, users acknowledge and accept any modifications made. No additional disclaimer is provided regarding user content responsibility.
